Brian McCann, Andy Blitz and I will be at Littlefield Wednesday night, April 30, at 8:30, for Running Late with Scott Rogowsky, possibly talking about some old time fun Conan days. http://www.littlefieldnyc.com/event/483185-running-late-scott-rogowsky-brooklyn/
All the fanfare. All the build up. All the anticipation and excitement. It all ends tonight. Take some time to be alone today. Find a nice, quiet, peaceful spot. Gather your thoughts. Reflect on the past three seasons. Think about everything that’s happened, everything that’s lead up to this moment in time. And then tonight, Thursday, March 7, at 12:30 - technically 12:30 tomorrow morning - sit back, relax, get focused, take a deep breath, exhale, take a bite of your sub, and then start to watch the series finale of Delocated. ”The Frrt Identity”.
Here’s a video interview for Time Out NY, done at the Russian social club location. Also, yesterday, from Eugene Mirman: “A Russian cab driver gave me a ride and asked what I did. I said comedian, and he asked if i wanted to hear a joke. Then he said “What’s better than a shot of vodka? Two shots of vodka!”
Thursday night March 7 at 12:30! That’s technically Friday morning March 8! In the meantime, here’s something I did for Thing X. If more people keep talking about Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter, there’s a better chance it’ll become a real show.
It can now be officially said. There will not be a Season 4. But I’m very happy to announce that there is going to be a very exciting series finale, airing Thursday March 7th at 12:30 AM on Adult Swim. Many thanks to everyone at Adult Swim, all cast and crew involved with the show, and of course, all the fans. Go here for a sneak peek at the series finale, entitled, “The Frrt Identity”.
I’m calling it a “salon” because that’s what it’s called, so I have to, not because I want to, which I don’t. In any case, I will be talking and answering questions and maybe showing some stuff at The Second City, 5:30, Friday January 18.
Very happy to be returning to Sketchfest for another Delocated live show. Saturday January 26th at 10PM at Cobb’s Comedy Club, with another great line-up: Eugene Mirman! Mary Lynn Rajskub! Joe Mande! Steve Agee! Kristen Schaal! And I’m especially excited to have musical guest Bob Mould!
Two great shows January 18th 10PM and 19th 8PM at The Hideout. Larry Murphy (Jay the doorman)! Kurt Braunohler! Greg Johnson! Archer Prewitt from Sea and Cake Friday night! Urge Overkill Saturday night! Tickets going fast!
If you are like me, then you very much enjoy a good/awful pun. Next Tuesday December 4 at 8 at Littlefield in Brooklyn, Punderdome 3000 is happening, as it does each month. I will be a “celebrity” judge.
I thought for sure there would be a good image of a goy bear when I googled one of my favorite puns, Gentile Ben, but there wasn’t. So here’s another image that came up, of a dude who I think is named Bob Gentile, and his super sweet car. Lookin’ good, 22!
Still some tickets left for a great show, Sunday November 25, 8PM, The Bell House, Brooklyn, NY. Me, Eugene Mirman, Wyatt Cenac, Mike Birbiglia, and Michael Che. As you can see, me, Mike, Eugene and Wyatt have formed a comedy super group called The 4 Square Assholes. Michael politely declined the offer to join our laff krewwww.
While in LA recently, I was fortunate enough to be steered in the direction of Earl’s Gourmet Grub in Mar Vista. Turns out there’s some Delocated fans who work there. Also turns out they occasionally run a special sandwich called The Glaze. If you live in the LA area, or ever find yourself in the LA area, I highly recommend you go there and either pray they are running the sandwich that day, or get down on your knees and beg they make you one. It is as delicious as Marc Wootton is as funny as Keri lotion. Which is to say…very.
